Probably a meniscus tear. You need a consultation of an orthopaedic surgeon.

i have a pain in both knees for as long as i can remember. my knee locks into place and when it does i can’t bend it and it hurts like hell. doctors say they can’t see anything and that it will go away.

anytime i extend me knee i feel a sharp intense pain but i can walk on it fine with no problem the only time i reall feel pain is like wen i sleep and have my knee curled up and go to extend it it hurts also if i go down and escalator i feel pain in it can anyone tell me wat it might be?

hi, there is no ‘vastus internus’. There are three vastus muscles. They are the ‘vastus medialis’, ‘vastus intermedius’ and ‘vastus lateralis’.

does your knee give out when u plant or run?

oh i forgot to mention i didnt hurt my knee in anyway i didnt fall or hurt it while playing basketball or tennis i only play once or twice a month. But i am carrying around 50 to 60 lbs at work. is this something serious or i just need to rest and itll just go away

i hear a clicking and popping sound on my right knee evrytime i go up and down a stairs but it doesnt hurt no matter how i move my feet. i tried to play tennis this morning and i didnt feel pain.
i can stand straight with out a problem evenif i am carrying heavy object. is there anyone experinced this also. i cant see a doctor bcoz im about to join navy and im afraid this might be a problem.

ya…knee pain is no fun….my knees have been real bitches for the past year now….

last year i ran alot and nothing happened , thats all. end of story.

i have this problem where i when i kneel right down somthing feels as if it dislocates and i have to kind of pop it back in so to speak, does anyone know what this is?

i jumped off a near two story building like an idiot and i landed on my heels. My heels hurt like hell for couple of days and it was fine then i started having a knee pain. It was over a year ago and it still hurts. It hurts around top of my knee cup but its not the knee cup that hurts though. I play basketball and if i jump without warming up, then thats when i really feel the pain. Which if the injury could this be from the injuries that this doctor just described?

I tore my ACL you don’t need to rant about this shit. Half of the basketball players complain just from jumpers knee i.e Vince Carter.

low volume

its been a year since ive had surgery. its not to bad it was but i know im probably gonna have problems with it. hope not tho

tell me a bout it I tore it when I was 9 now I’m 23 and I stall have the problem.

yah

Last year I got tackled in football and my legs were planted. my body was turned around backwards and my foot and knee were pointing forward. it twisted and popped 3 times. it hurt like hell

KJK, you shouldn’t be scared, but you should start working out your quads because those are essentially the muscles that will keep your knee stable and in place. More specifically you should work your adductors and abductors because they will give you more strength and stability in the knee. Don’t worry about it you’ll be okay, just start exercising to prevent any further problems.

my acl snap. that hurt like hell.

2 weeks ago our track team was sprinting in the gym, the floor was wet so when i tried to stop my feet slid and i fell into almost a sitting position my left knee slammed into the wall. i can still walk and run but it hurts a lot in one spot on the right side of my left knee and the pain isn’t going away, what should i do.

I twisted my knee on 11/25 was in no pain when it happen but, it did get swell up for a week, but I can walk, bike and put pressure on the knee now, should I still go to a doctor

I fell on both of my knees 6 months ago, for one week i had no pain in either one of my knees. One week later the pain slowly started. starting in my knees and then hitting my whole leg, for 2 months i was in hell!,( SHARP PAIN EVERYWERE) MRI’s showed everything normal, every scan u can posibly think of showed nothing wrong. The doctors had no idea what was wrong, i still have the pain ,The symptoms are, burning pains, stiffness in my knee and the pain occasionaly goes to my wrists. PST

are u kiding me? that is SEVERE! i relyy badly got tendonitis in my right knee and it rely hurts when i extend my knee. i can just barely walk but walking is hard enough. im very unstable because it feels like i have no strength anymore and plus it relll hurtz. but mine is notin compared to uerz.. wish ya well buddy ;)

tearing your acl fucking sucks
