Most of the injuries/pathology I see involving the adductors respond best to eccentric loading AFTER the fresh injury has mostly healed. In the late subacute or chronic phases I use star pattern side lunges popularized by Gary Gray, PT. To work the anterior pelvic sling, variations of the “dead bug” work well to help those with so called “sports hernia” and those with pubic symphysitis. I like working larger, core connected, synergists of injured muscles to groove sustainable movement.
